White Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

For the third treat in the kids' teachers' gift plates (first two treats were the Lemon and Blueberry Bars with a Coconut Crust and Triple Chocolate Cookies) I made pretzels dipped in melted white chocolate and topped with sprinkles. They were fun, easy, and messy to make. The kids had a lot of fun covering them with sprinkles. I loved the combination of the sweet white chocolate with the salty and crunchy pretzels. They were SO GOOD!

White Chocolate Dipped Pretzels:
Recipe and photo by For the Love of Cooking.net
  • 30 small pretzels
  • 1 cup of white chocolate chips
  • Sprinkles
  • Wooden skewer
Place the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and cook in the microwave, at half power, for 30 seconds. Stir the chocolate chips then continue to cook for 30 seconds, then stir again. If the chips are not melted yet, continue to cook for 20-30 seconds, then stir again. Continue that process until the chips are melted and creamy while making sure not to overcook them or the chocolate will burn.

Place a large sheet of wax paper on the counter. Dip the pretzels, one at a time, in the chocolate using the skewer then place them on the wax paper. Sprinkle each pretzel with the sprinkles immediately, before the chocolate sets. Let them cool until hardened before serving, wrapping, or eating them. Enjoy!
