Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes:
Recipe and photos by For the Love of Cooking.net
Place potatoes in a large pot of water that has been seasoned with sea salt. Boil the potatoes for about 25 minutes, or until fork tender. Drain the potatoes in a strainer then put back in the pot. Place the milk and butter together in a microwave safe bowl and cook for 30 seconds or until the butter has melted. Pour the milk/butter mixture onto the potatoes, squeeze the roasted garlic out of it's skin and onto the potatoes then season with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper. Mash by hand or with hand mixer until light and fluffy. Taste and re-season if needed. Serve plain or with butter and extra black pepper. Enjoy!- 4-6 large russet potatoes peeled and cut into equal size chunks
